6. Discussions-Opinions
TASK 1. CULTURAL AWARENESS.
Romanians are fun loving people, very helpful, if your car brokes down there is always someone willing to help you. Romanians are very religious when they need help, or when they are in a predicament! You can sit and have a plate of stuffed cabbage, he will prove to be a great conversationalist.
TASK 2.
Interesting subject, change, what is change? Well as I see it, there are two types of change... good change and bad change! I have gone through both in my life. The bad change happened when a good friend of mine died, this event changed me into a bitter,cold and kind of a cruel person, in short I was in a bad place emotionally for 10 months. I didn't want to speak to anyone, including my parents which is really hard considering that I was staying with them at the time. I closed myself completly. Then like a miracle, my cousin returned from Italy and he kind of took me under his wing, he was relentless, he called me all the time, he came to our house, actually carried me outside of the house because I hadn't gone out all that time that I was feeling miserable! Then we started talking about what happened,about life and the future and slowly but surely I changed not only had I become a better person but I became a better man!
In my example my motivation for change was my beloved cousin!

5. My most valuable photo
1. I took this photo in the summer of 2008, during my trip to Bezid, we stayed there in a tent for three days. Bezid was a village that was flooded and turned into a lake. You definitely can feel that you are at the country-side, it's quiet, it's simple, it's beautiful, it's perfect! You can see a church rising from the depths of the lake like a ghost. This photo is very special to me because it reminds me unfortunately of the last time that I was at Bezid and the times that my friends weren't "working robots" and were free!2. Can you guess

Mihaela Radulescu endorse Elit salami and sausages.
In general, salami and sausages contain dangerous additives for our health, from dyes to preservatives and other substances that replace meat.For example, thick rosy sausage contains in fact 90% bacon and rind. The "crenvurşti" contain a lot of smashed bones, tendons and "pielite". In an advertisment Mihaela Radulescu who is one of the most publicized celebrity from Romania says that Elit salami and sausages provide for you the energy that you need for a whole day which is a lie. I think that they choosed Mihaela Radulescu because she is involved in some anti-smoking campaigns and she is seen as kind of an Oprah.How much salami and sausages do you eat every day?
4. A RECENT FILM THAT I HAVE SEEN
Summary:
The story begins as "Don" Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia "family", oversees his daughter's wedding. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father's business. Through Michael's life the nature of the family business becomes clear. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and benevolent to those who give respect, but given to ruthless violence whenever anything stands against the good of the family. Don Vito lives his life in the way of the old country, but times are changing and some don't want to follow the old ways and look out for community and "family". An up and coming rival of the Corleone family wants to start selling drugs in New York, and needs the Don's influence to further his plan. The clash of the Don's fading old world values and the new ways will demand a terrible price, especially from Michael, all for the sake of the family.

3. Brand names
The brand name that I would like to analyze is McDonald's.
1. I think that McDonald's sounds very friendly, like it's the familly restaurant, like that song "Old Mcdonald''; although it is a fast food corporation.
2. McDonald's or MecDonald, I don't think it really makes a difference.
3. The name is associated with fast food, and fast food is known for beeing bad for you'r weight so you could say that it has a negative connotation because of the mass-media.
4. The product that I would like to introduce on the market would be called Retuşan, it's a funny name for a delicate problem, it's a concealer for pimples... "to retouch you'r face"!

2. What did you do last summer?
My summer was very repetitive, active yet repetitive... I went swimming almost everyday at the Weekend, got a nice tan. I attended Peninsula, very expensive if you ask me compared to the quality of the bands that they invited. I was present almost religiously at every game that the local team F.C.M Targu Mures played. I went fishing with my friends at a very beautifuly arranged lake at Dumbravioara. We fired up the grill and made a very eatable barbeque which we usually don't get. We tried to catch a decent fish but we failed miserably, I mean we spent like eight hours trying to catch something but in vain, finally one of my friends talked with a local and bought one... well that was humiliating :D.
I spent a week at a friends cabin in Ivanesti playing poker, relaxing and just having plain fun! I'll stop here, I don't think you want to read about the drinking.
Well this was my summer holiday, not very eventfull but fun none the least!

My great college
